It’s almost cliché that architects design for themselves last of all. It’s a simple matter of giving very understandable priority to the work that pays over the work that doesn’t. It’s a bit of a Catch-22 — if you have the work, you don’t really need to market yourself. In fact, when business starts rolling, it almost feels like he’s in the business of doing the unthinkable, kindly saying I’m sorry but no, there just aren’t enough hours in the day. And when work slows down a little, more often than not you want to kick back until the next rush begins.
I found myself in that fortunate trap for the last couple of years but I’m glad to say I staved off the temptation to kick back long enough to commission a new website design. Now I’m proud to say that I have a place to show my work and a blog in which I can share some hopefully interesting tidbits about my world.
If you’re reading this, you’re one of the first to do so. So I extend you a gracious thank you and welcome you to Odyssey Design Studios LLC.
